July 1st is considered to be a Day for Doctors, a day where we can thank them for their utmost contributions and hard work.
God chose them to be in this noble profession where their every move towards making someone’s life better and saving lives is a blessing.
We asked some female doctors to share the one best thing about being a Doctor and here are their lovely responses.
Maria Shabbir (Sonologist) shares, “Being a doctor is satisfying and you get a feeling of being important as people trust you with their life and their most important issues in life.”
Sana Noreen (Medical student of Fatima Memorial Medical College) told us, “Best thing about being a medical student is that you get mature enough by dealing with other medical students as compared to other students of your age, and the thing is that you don’t have time to waste in bad activities.”
Mehreen Mazhar Tiwana (Women medical officer) shred her detailed opinion, “As a doctor I feel special because I have been chosen by Allah Almighty to serve the deprived humanity. I have been included in the cream of nation and the people look with hope towards me. I know the pain a person can feel and I don’t hesitate to relief them at any cost. I don’t care about myself, about my personal life, about my home and my children as I’m providing my best for the health of other children. I feel special when I see the faces of the hopeful patients, I feel too happy when I see prayers of people being accepted. I am humble as this special feeling is gift from Great Almighty Allah.”
For Zara Batool (MBBS Doctor) the best thing is simple and most valued. She said, “The best feeling is serving the humanity.”
Hira Amir (Post graduate resident 4) on how being a doctor increases your moral values more, “Being a doctor, the best thing is that this profession gives you tolerance and develops the sense of equality within you.”
Even though Doctors are the hardest working and they really have to dedicate their livers to this profession, instead of complaining they choose to be kind, humble and full of gratitude.
